Kensing to Undergo a MRI Today

Logan Kensing left yesterday's game with elbow problems.

Reliever Logan Kensing, who left Sunday's game with elbow pain after throwing five pitches, is scheduled to have an MRI exam today.

''They're pretty convinced it's not his ligament,'' Girardi said. ``He had a little strain. And we'll have to make a decision on what we're going to do there.''

I hope Joe and the immediate analysis are correct.  But one thing does concern me is that the young guys aren't wimps.  The last time we saw a pitcher leave after only a few pitches was Carlos Martinez and he ended up on the 60-day DL.

With any luck that isn't the case here.
