Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Nationals at Marlins (8/22)

The Marlins are off to a good start to the series.  But Photi's crack stat department has uncovered a possible cause for concern for this game.

The starting pitcher for the Marlins is Josh Johnson.  The Nationals plan to trot Jason Bergmann out to the hill.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Johnson is leading the Majors in ERA.  His last start was somewhat sub-par for the righty, giving up 4 ER in 6 innings.  But it was against the red hot Dodgers and he was still able to record the win.

Bergmann is another call-up from the Minor Leagues.  He is only making his third start of the season and he has yet to win as a starter.  Though he didn't pitch badly in either outing.  The Marlins have seen him before when he pitched relief in the team's last visit to D.C.

If you are looking for more on the Nationals, be sure and check out Federal Ball and while you are there you may want to get Basil's take on the possible ROY outcome.

If you do go to the game you will get a chance to hang with Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Wicket the Ewok.
