John Donovan of SI has selected his all Rookie team and five Fish rookies make the grade.
Uggla, Ramirez, Willingham, Johnson and Olsen.
I am a little surprised by Willingham being on the list. But I must admit, I haven't been scouring the leagues for rookie comparisons of outfielders. He may be well deserving of inclusion.
The best quote comes from Danny:
...2006 is the year for scrappers like Uggla, a five-year minor league veteran who became an All-Star with the Marlins.
"I kept playing because I had no clue of what I wanted to do. I didn't want to go back to school or work in the real world," Uggla told USA Today last month. "I guess the Marlins are stuck with me now."
Stuck with Danny?!? I can live with that.
