Treanor back with the Club?

All sources expect that Matt Treanor will rejoin the team for today's game.

Hoover is likely to be wearing an Albuquerque (N.M.) Isotopes uniform again soon. Regular backup catcher Matt Treanor, on the disabled list with a left shoulder strain, is expected to be reactivated today.

According to the AP, it is already a done deal.

The Marlins optioned C Paul Hoover to Triple-A Albuquerque after the game in preparation for activating C Matt Treanor from the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday. Treanor has been sidelined since Aug. 1 with a strained left shoulder.

Assuming the AP is correct don't be surprised to see Treanor starting today.  Treanor starting would allow the team to give Olivo two days off from catching.  The club is off on Thursday.

The main reason for Treanor not to start is that Olivo is in a bit of a groove at the plate and hits have been hard to come by in this series. They could, of course, play Dontrelle in the field to pick up the slack at the plate, but I really wouldn't recommend that.
