Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Braves (7/26)

Tonight the Marlins will try for two-in-a-row from the Braves.  Should the Marlins win they will move into second place in the NL East.

The starting pitcher for the Fish is Josh Johnson.  The Braves will send John Smoltz to the hill.

Game time is 7:35 p.m.

The two pitchers have squared off before: on June 13 they faced each other and Johnson came out the winner only allowing one ER.

Smoltz has not lost in his last seven starts.  So it will be quite a challenge, as expected, for the young team from South Florida to take this one.  But it is something they are very capable of doing.

Jones boys update:

Chipper is likely to play tonight while Andruw is expected to miss the series.

Ichthyomancy is more than ready.  Be sure to get your picks in on time.
