Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Nationals at Marlins (7/17)

The Marlins open up a three game home series with the Nationals tonight.

The starting pitcher for the Marlins will be Ricky Nolasco.  The Nats will trot out Tony Armas to the hill.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Nolasco last two outings were extremely rough.  Hopefully he will regain his form and have command of his pitches tonight.

Armas hasn't pitched in about a month.  He was sidelined by a right forearm strain.  The team has seen him before.

Oh, just a suggestion, could we walk Zimmerman in the late innings. I'm tired of him making a career off of us.

There is a charity auction tonight. Rich and Tommy will be dressed in tuxes (one can assume rentals) and auctioning off such things as fishing with Willingham. (Read wrestling alligators) Or swimming among the dolphins with Olsen. (I am assuming that is not the football players but the aquatic mammals) If that doesn't suit you, you can play catch with Treanor at JRS. (If Misty is going to show up for the event, this should be a good draw)

[Update] Rumor is the announcers will not be in tuxes but in their "Tommy Bahama shirts" sitting in the picnic area with the fans. We shall see.
