Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Rockies (6/4)

The Marlins are going for the sweep today.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Scott Olsen.  The Rockies are countering with Jason Jennings.

Game time is 3:05 p.m.

If Olsen can keep the ball down and quit relaxing with the bottom part of the order, he should be fine.

Jennings last start was a complete game.  He throws outside to right-handed hitters with a pretty even mix of fast balls and sliders.  To left-handers he tends to pitch inside with mainly fast balls.  The key is to get to him early before he settles in.

This is our last game of the season with Colorado.  I must apologize to the Rockies for saying they were inconsiderate guest when they visited us earlier in Florida.  Little did I know at the time they were planning to put the words of Gregg Allman into action:  So I might steal your diamonds.  I'll bring you back some gold.

Since we won't see them again until next year be sure to go by Purple Row, it is always an interesting read. We definitely wish them and the purple cladded gang the very best for the remainder of the season.  Not counting today, of course.
