Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Devil Rays at Marlins (6/27)

The Citrus series continues tonight.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Ricky Nolasco.  The Devil Rays will send their ace, Scott Kazmir, to the mound.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Nolasco lost his last time out.  He pitched well but the offense didn't help out at all.  Scoring exactly zero runs.

Kazmir is a lefty and the team's recent history against left-handed pitchers is: no so good.

Kazmir mainly throws fast balls with an equal mix of sliders and change ups to right-handed hitters.  To left-handed hitters, he throws fast balls and sliders.  He is the "easiest" to hit in the middle innings.

Ichthyomancy is ready for action.  Be sure to get your picks in early.
