A couple of the players are thinking about their careers after baseball.
Mexican native Alfredo Amezaga and right-hander Carlos Martinez went to Tijuana last weekend. While there, Martinez purchased guitars for himself and teammate Miguel Cabrera. Neither knows how to play, evidenced by their comical attempt at La Bamba in the clubhouse before Sunday's game.
We can possibly look forward to a Martinez and Cabrarea unplugged duet CD in the future. But hopefully, not the near future, at least until they have taken a few guitar lessons.
I'm sure their Mom's will buy a copy and maybe I will too. If the CD thing does happen I can't wait to hear Wiggins' and Dr F's reviews.
Does anyone know if these guys can sing?
