But tonight is going to be a challenge for the young Marlins.
The starting pitcher for the Fish is Josh Johnson. The Giants have on tap Jason Schmidt.
Game time is 7:05 p.m.
If both pitchers bring their A-game this could be quite a duel.
To get to Schmidt it is best to make him work. He begins to tire around 75 pitches. Getting runners on is also a plus.
The Giants, likewise, should have trouble with the hard throwing Johnson if he is on. Hopefully he will be.
Neither pitcher has a career loss at JRS. It should be interesting and could turn into a battle of the bullpens. As soon as I say all of this, it will become a run scoring feast.
