The home stand was, to put it mildly, somewhat less than successful. So the Marlins take to the road to try their luck in a two game series against Washington. The Fish actually have a better record on the road than they do at home, so hope abounds.
Not to mention the fact that Wiggins will be in attendance and possibly be playing first base. Wiggins watching the game may bring the team good fortune but if he is the starting first baseman - uh, no offense my friend, bet everything you own on the Nats.
Starting pitchers for tonight's contest will be Brian Moehler for the Marlins and Tony Armas for the Nationals.
Game time is 7:05 p.m.
