The Walking Wounded Report

By now all of you know that Jeremy Hermida and Hanley Ramirez have rejoined the team.  In the process Robert Andino was optioned back to the Isotopes.

Andino didn't do poorly in his call up.  Unfortunately though, he was never able to fully get his sea legs under him in the short amount of time.  But he definitely did a solid job.

The other news is a couple of relievers may soon be on the way.

...pitcher Carlos Martinez throwing to hitters for the first time in more than a month.

Another injured reliever, right-hander Franklyn German (shoulder tendinitis), was back with the team after a one-inning rehab assignment with Single A Jupiter and could be activated Friday.

The addition of the two should shore up the bullpen.  And as you know the bullpen needs a little help at this point.

Oh, infield coach Perry Hill has rejoined the team.  His wife has improved to the point he feels comfortable returning to the club.  That is good news and we wish her and the Hill all the best.
