Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Pirates (5/11)

After a, shall we say, less than successful home stand the Marlins head out on the road for a 10-game trip.

The good news is: the Marlins, this year, have been better on the road than at home.  Six of our nine wins have come on the road.

The bad news is: the first stop is Pittsburgh.

The Marlins since 2001, the year PNC opened, are 4-16 at the park with only two wins since 2002.

The starting pitcher for the Marlins will be Sergio Mitre.  The Pirates will send forth Victor Santos.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Santos has been better of late but he has yet to win a game at home.

Something has to give.

Ichthyomancy is on the schedule.  So get those picks in early and if you haven't joined us already - you really should.
