Hopefully the team will bounce back and do a little better today.
The scheduled starting pitchers are Dontrelle Willis and Tom Glavine.
Game is slated for 1:10 p.m.
Dontrelle has made 5 starts at Shea with 3 wins and 0 losses. His career ERA at the stadium is 2.48 and with any luck at all, he may get his first win of the season. The atmospheric conditions during the game could prove to be a bother.
Game time weather is suppose to be around 46 degrees with a light rain. You may consider this to be a balmy day but I would beg to differ. I suppose that's what passes for spring in New York.
Somewhat off-topic:
The Marlins are inviting fans to watch the 1:10 p.m. Sunday game against the Mets on their new high-definition video board at Dolphins Stadium. The free event is part of a select-a-seat day that will start at noon and offer a variety of ticket plans.
So if you live around JRS and would like to see tomorrow's game in the stadium, you will get your chance.
