Another First for this Year's Team

They just keep coming.

Nineteen games into the season, the Marlins scored their first ninth-inning run Wednesday. The left-handed hitting Mike Jacobs singled off left-hander Scott Eyre to drive in Cabrera, who reached on a one-out walk.

Before Wednesday, the Marlins had been outscored 7-0 in the ninth.

Since we have been doing references from the movie Major League lately, one more won't hurt:
