Obviously the pitchers were instructed to work on their gopher balls yesterday and they succeeded admirably.
Vargas gave up two in four innings while Borowski and Gailard were a little more efficient in giving up one per inning.
I'm sure it was some Zen kinda thing the coaches had them work on. Now that they have mastered that - hopefully we won't be seeing it again.
Treanor had a nice day at the plate going 3 for 3 with a run scored. Rameriz seemly broke his non-losing streak while putting up a 2 for 4 with a run scored and a RBI for the day.
