Since the Tigers pitchers threw away the World Series, the weekend open thread is making its 2006 debut earlier than desired.
Feel free to discuss anything that comes to your mind. Normally at this point, I would go into a litany of possible topics but not this weekend - I'm not in form yet.
A little reminder for the off-season: the open thread will stay at the top of the page for the weekend. Should some breaking news happen, it will be written about and the open thread will be moved above it. If this should happen it will be noted in an update on the open thread that a new article is below it.
