The final homestand of the year begins today. It features D.J. Carrasco for the Nats and Jason Vargas for the Fish. Despite the less than spectacular matchup, I'll still be out at the ballpark. It's one of the final chances to see baseball until February (at the earliest - when college baseball starts back up).
Hopefully the Fish can go out on a nice run - or at least show some encouraging signs for next season.
Maybe you've forgotten by now, but a few weeks back we made some post-season awards predictions. I received the cards (the prizes) in the mail last week from Seamus, and they are very cool. Just something to keep in mind as we go through the final week of the year.
It's once again time for ichthyomancy. If you've been playing all season, please make your picks today. If you've never played before - start today. It doesn't cost anything, it's fun, and it's free.
