I'm going to try to pretend that last night's ugly loss didn't happen (just like I'm sure that some of you wish that rooms were never spinning last night/this morning). I'm not sure if it's better to have a night game today - or if a day game would have been better. We'll see soon enough.
Brian Moehler gets the start today (against John Thomson), and it's a special day for Big Moe: his wife gave birth to their fourth child (and first boy - Dane) yesterday afternoon. Interestingly, the baby was delivered at 1:05. Sounds like a future ballplayer to me - that's gametime.
Here's hoping that Big Moe's return to prominence includes a monster game like that Pirates guy had last year after his wife delivered their baby (his name escapes me).
It's once again time for ichthyomancy. If you've been playing all season, please make your picks today. If you've never played before - start today. It doesn't cost anything, it's fun, and it's free.
