It's the last game of the year against the Mets. There's some sadness in that for me, if only because of all of the fun that many of us had in New York earlier this summer. Well, except for Wiggins - he didn't have any fun.
And yes, at least through tonight, I'm still going to pretend and hold out hope that the Marlins can make it to the playoffs. They only need to go 10-0.
Tonight's game features one of the best pitching matchups of the season: Dontrelle Willis vs. Pedro Martinez. Pedro has "only" 15 wins this season, but I'm still convinced that he's a witch. His pitches are filthy.
