Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Mets (9/22)

It's the last game of the year against the Mets. There's some sadness in that for me, if only because of all of the fun that many of us had in New York earlier this summer. Well, except for Wiggins - he didn't have any fun.

And yes, at least through tonight, I'm still going to pretend and hold out hope that the Marlins can make it to the playoffs. They only need to go 10-0.

Tonight's game features one of the best pitching matchups of the season: Dontrelle Willis vs. Pedro Martinez. Pedro has "only" 15 wins this season, but I'm still convinced that he's a witch. His pitches are filthy.

It's once again time for ichthyomancy. If you've been playing all season, please make your picks today. If you've never played before - start today. It doesn't cost anything, it's fun, and it's free.

Here's today's ichthyomancy pick table:

Person Player Attendance AAB
Carolina Lowell 32,400 Willis: 8 IP, 0 R
Dex Cabrera 33,323 Dance off*
Double B SP
Fishfan24 Cabrera 24,024 SP: No hitter
Rastronomicals Willis 22,003 Game goes into extras scoreless
Seamusfurr Delgado 30,000 Bench clearing brawl
StrandedX02 Willis 28,127 Willis RBI = 1/2 Marlins R
