vs.
NORTH SIDERS MARLINS
Carlos Zambrano (5-4, 3.85) Dontrelle Willis (13-3, 1.89)
In case you missed it, check out the link Fishfan provided to a nice story about Dontrelle and a young man involving Make-a-Wish. It's a really nice story. I tried to find a similarly heart-warming story involving Roger Clemens and a child, but all I could come up with was the Rocket being ejected from his son's Little League game. (Yeah, I know - there was a whole retraction of the event later. Go ahead and believe that if you want.) Keep all of that in mind as you keep your fingers crossed about who gets tabbed by Tony LaRussa to start the All-Star game.
If you make any weather-related above and beyond picks this weekend they will have to be very specific and absolutely correct - at least if you want any points for them. Also, predicting that the Cubs will wear blue jerseys tonight (with Zambrano getting the start) isn't worth anything either; Carlos nearly always outfits his boys in blue.
In ichthyomancy, I have to take Mr. Willis. For a crowd, my fish is very confused. Not only did "camp" day throw off the numbers yesterday, but the combination of the weekend, poor weather, and having the (hated) Cubs in town makes estimating tonight's crowd a crapshoot. I'll say 23,099.
Other Picks:
Double B - Willis
Jsprt05 - Cabrera
