Favorite Marlin Contest: Round Two, Day Two

More of round two (today featuring the 1997 Champs), but if you're just joining us, check out the entry from Day One, which gives something of an overview for the whole process.

Yesterday's Winners
All advance to the Sweet Sixteen: Jeff Conine, Bryan Harvey, Orestes Destrade, Rob Nen

Today's Matchups

Number One
Livan Hernandez vs. Alex Fernandez - Two stars who took completely different paths during this magical season. The world was expected of Alex heading into the year, but his arm began to fail him. Few of us expected anything at all from Livan before the season, but his story became the most well known of all during the World Series.

Number Two
Craig Counsell vs. Charles Johnson - Another tale of two completely different paths: Counsell was released by the Rockies during the 1997 campaign; CJ was as much a part of the Marlins and South Florida baseball as anyone.

Number Three
Edgar Renteria vs. Bobby Bonilla - Two completely different players who made significant contributions to the team's championship run.

Number Four
Robb Nen vs. Jeff Conine - The closer or Mr. Marlin?

Who is your favorite Marlin?

Number One: Livan Hernandez vs. Alex Fernandez
Number Two: Craig Counsell vs. Charles Johnson
Number Three: Edgar Renteria vs. Bobby Bonilla
Number Four: Robb Nen vs. Jeff Conine

Special Note
