Aside from the trade rumors, there was an interesting note in the paper today which said that Olsen was sent down (instead of Vargas) because they felt that Vargas could work out of the bullpen (if needed) but that Olsen could only start. I'm not sure if we should believe that or not, but I suppose time will tell.
