Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Cubs (6/15)

Because of the early start time today, the open thread goes up early.

Greg Maddux takes the hill for the Cubs today. Despite that he's (once again) a Cub, he's one of my all-time favorite players. One of the most amazing things about Maddux is that he's won at least 15 games (I know, I hate wins as a barometer for a pitcher) in 17 straight years (what were you doing in 1988?).

This year, with 5 wins so far, Maddux is "only" on pace for 13 wins. I hope Maddux gets to 15 this year, but I hope that today doesn't bring him number six.

In ichthyomancy, I'll take Delgado and 38,001 for attendance. The Delgado - Maddux matchups should be fun.
