Managers of the Year

Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox was voted NL manager of the year for the second straight year, and Chicago White Sox manager and former Marlins third base coach Ozzie Guillen took home the AL manager of the year award.

Cox become the first manager to ever win the award two years in a row.  Unfortunately we all got to see Cox's handy work up close and personal as he took the Braves minor leaguers and won the divison title for the 14th time.

Guillen really didn't do much he just took a team without any big name stars and won the World Series, much to the delight of our resident White Sox fans.  It was the first World Series win for the club since 1917.
