Game Two 8:09 - Astros (Pettitte) at White Sox (Buehrle) -- White Sox lead 1-0
Once again, this looks like another great pitching matchup--tonight featuring two outstanding lefties. But I won't get into that too much, as the low-scoring, outstanding pitching matchup that we expected yesterday didn't really come to fruition.
Despite the low temperatures (upper 30s around game time), I expect the crowd to be raucous tonight. Pending the outcome of the next few games, this could potentially be the last World Series game in Chicago. Given how long the drought was before these past two games, I'm sure everyone will be into tonight's game.
Good luck to everyone who is in Florida and/or the path of Hurricane Wilma.
The only downside to the World Series is that Tim McCarver, who is an awful announcer, is a part of it. If you think he is too, you might like this site.
As always, the playoffs wouldn't be the same without ichthyomancy (if you haven't been playing but would like to start, feel free to start now - we'll just add your name to the table):
