The NL gets center stage today as they're the only baseball game in town.
The Cardinals won last night. Ho-hum. In the last 8 LCS games between these two clubs, the home team has won each game. Here's today's matchup:
NL - 8:20: Astros (Oswalt) at Cardinals(Mulder)
That looks like another great pitching matchup. I doubt we'll get the excitement of last night's Eddings' Game, but you never know.
EDIT: The time has come. I'm playing along now. Check out this site and let the world know that you think Tim McCarver is an awful announcer. Thanks to the wonder that is XM radio, I've been able to avoid McCarver's horrid-ness so far this post-season. But I know that not everyone is so fortunate. Maybe we can get the word out and rid ourselves of McCarver's post-season presence.
And the playoffs wouldn't be complete without ichthyomancy (I'm assuming that folks want to reset their standing picks):
