Mark Hendrickson inducted to the Hall

Not that Hall,  but the Pac-10 Hall of Honor.

Hendrickson is leaving the team this morning for Los Angeles to be inducted into the Pac-10 Hall of Honor. A standout basketball player at Washington State, Hendrickson will be recognized with nine others Saturday during the Pac-10 men's basketball tournament.

The 6-foot-9 Hendrickson spent parts of six seasons in the NBA before dedicating himself to baseball. While he enjoyed his NBA experience, Hendrickson becomes more nostalgic about his hoops days during March Madness.

"The NBA, I miss it, but that was just a chapter in my life," Hendrickson said earlier this spring. "I enjoy watching guys that I played against, but this time of year in spring training I get real excited for the tournament."

Congratulations Mark!

Hendrickson will be back in camp on Sunday, probably bleary-eyed after two coast-to-coast flights.
