Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Brewers (6/1)

The Marlins will be looking the even the series tonight.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Scott Olsen.

The will trot out Jeff Suppan.

Game time is 8:05 p.m.

Olsen had a pretty rough outing in his last start against the Mets.  The Mets forgot to sit all their lefties and well, stuff happened.  Hopefully, Milwaukee won't make the same mistake.  Scott is coming around, for example: his BAA in April was .301 and for the month of May it was .257.  Starting to come together Skip.

Suppan, this being an odd number year, is expected to put forth a 3.57 ERA for the season, the way he always has since 2003.  But lately he has been a bit wild with the number of walks doubling in May over the April total.  I'm not sure that matters since the Marlins are the most aggressive swinging team I've seen this season.  But his HR total has more than doubled during that time frame, and that does.  He is considered to be the ace of the staff by many.
