Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Padres at Marlins (5/4)

The Marlins open a three game set tonight against the Padres and their starting pitching is stacked for the series.  But the Fish have the arms to counter.  Tonight's game features an excellent match up.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Dontrelle Willis.

The Padres will send some guy by the name of Greg Maddux to the hill.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Dontrelle will be looking for his sixth win of the season.  His last outing against San Diego was a complete game shutout, but that was in 2005.  Strangely, Willis has been better on the road than at home, but things change.

Maddux had an excellent last start going seven and only allowing five hits.  The good news, he is only 1-3 in last four starts in JRS, something that hopefully will remain the same.

Ichthyomancy is a little bit different tonight, for you see, it's Bark at the Park Night.  Besides your normal picks you need to include your best guess for the number of dogs in attendance.  The doggie pick won't show up in the table but it will count.

Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:

Also, about Spider-Man 3
The movie as a whole was kind of a letdown. Now this isn't because it was a bad movie. It wasn't. It had a few parts that dragged the movie out a little longer than it had to, but the special effects were great. They took some liberty with the Sandman character, but unless you're a hardcore fan of the comics, it doesn't detract from the movie.
The reason why it was a letdown is because it was so hyped up, I expected it to be the greatest movie I'd ever seen. It wasn't.
When I got to the theatre though, I got the VIP treatment. I was the only one there dressed as Spider-Man (such lack of enthusiam from the midnight crowd.) so they allowed my group and I to choose our seats in the theater first.
Anyways. I'd give the actual movie a good 7, 7.5/10. Definately go see it.

What is this organization doing?
Because it seem to me like they're trying to drive away the few fans they have.
And they're doing a damn good job.

I should have a point for my pick of Marlins allow 4 hits... SD's total was 4... that's multiple points! haha

I wrote down your picks...
but I guess I inadvertently skipped over it when I was adding them to the table.

You're due 3 points for the game.

Sorry about that.
