Flotsam and Jetsam

Before we start off with Flotsam and Jetsam I would like to thank publicly Dr F, my Sister and Brother in Law for their help this weekend.  Dr F whose help with my weekend assignment was invaluable and to my family members who went to FanFest and took a slew of pictures which I'm still sorting through.  Thanks guys!

Now on to Flotsam and Jetsam.  Some of the topics I hate handle in this fashion but time mandates it.

First up is a must read about Fredi.  There is no way he and his family will be moving to South Florida anytime soon.  And understandably so.  Oh, if someone can get a picture of Fredi riding his Harley to Spring Training or to a Sunday game it would be much appreciated.  That is, of course, assuming you pass it along.

The baseballs will be cooler this season.  A humidor is not required, however.

I stumbled upon a new site, new, at least to me, dedicated to Cody Ross.  Assuming I remember I will place it in the Marlins blogroll.  CodyRoss.org

USAToday released their 100 names of the future impact players in the Majors.  The Marlins scored two names on the list.  One, completely surprised me.  Gazing at the list I feel we should've had more included but then again I'm biased.

Finally, it wouldn't be Monday if some Marlins stuff wasn't presented.  Today we have the always useful 5th & Ocean Florida Marlins Womens French Terry Drawstring Skirt (Aqua).

That is mercifully it for Flotsam and Jetsam.
