Penmanship

[editor's note, by wiggins] - More from Craig.  Hopefully we can get this issue resolved - but if not we'll be presenting things like this all week.  Try not to get confused, eh?

Penmanship Counts

When the Marlins script a lineup they literally script a lineup.

Bench coach Gary Tuck might have the most stylish handwriting of anyone on the team. Tuck wrote the opening-day lineup the way he did all spring and the way he will the rest of the season -- in calligraphy.

"...I've always written that way. It pumps the kids up, too. They like it. It makes them feel special."

Cool.

I have read several newspaper articles where in it, they mention that some of the rookies had lineup cards hanging in their lockers.  I never understood the appeal of that being a collectible but now I do.

Neat
Humorous how Girardi gets almost apologetic over making lineup changes, because it messes up the lineup card...
