Hazing at it's finest. Marlins rookes dress up as water polo players in Times Square.
Preliminary design for a Monstrosity T-Shirt for @fishstripes shirt store. What do you guys think? Too UM-like in color? The store sadly lack a pure black background, this is the darkest I could find.
Marlins fans need more than just cut-rate insurance against mayhem like- HEATH BELL!!!! (H/T Jeremy Hulme)
I know I could get one of these on Ebay just as simple, but I wanted to throw this out there for any other bobblehead enthusiasts who may have an extra JJ bobblehead in their possession. I have an extra Braves Craig Kimbrel bobblehead, and an extra minor league AAA Brian McCann bobblehead, and I was curious to know if anyone who also likes bobbleheads of players on other teams would be willing to make a trade for one of these, for a JJ bobblehead? Link to image Email me (in profile) if you're interested, to hash out details.
If you want to be REALLY unique when at Marlins Park then rocking this throwback uni will get you there. It can be bought here.
For those of us that were fans of the team in 2003 and feel that we deserve a World Series ring (less-so for those who jumped on the bandwagon ;D). Not sure if the offer still stands at this site but heck I would pay a little extra to get my own one. Or we can wait for the next one coming soon :D
Editor's note: I was late on promoting this to the front page, but it's definitely an interesting piece. Take a look at the full piece at Beyond the Box Score. Thanks, David The Marlins made a big splash this offseason and look poised to win now. Click to see full post on Beyond the Box Score
Is it me, or did they put the marlin on the right side on backwards?
Just so we don't seem like too much of a homer blog, here's a Marlins board game Larry Granillo of the Wezen-Ball blog on Baseball Prospectus cooked up. This game actually kind of looks fun.
