Lots of stuff happening this weekend. The Marlins are working out in Jupiter and ......uh....well... other stuff. So if something is on your mind, this is the place to share it.

The squad of "large male dancers" the Fish are trying to assemble has made the front page over at SI.com.

Starting pitchers announced

The Fish will play an intrasquad game tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. Chris Volstad will start against Daniel Barone.

Bobby Keppel will start the game against the University of Miami. He will is scheduled to be followed by Chris Seddon, Eulogio De La Cruz, Jesus Delgado, Joe Nelson, Taylor Tankersley and Lee Gardner.

Scott Olsen will start the Wednesday night Grapefruit League opener against the Nationals. I can't find who will pitch after him.

No matter how crappy an offseason, hope always begins anew in spring training. Looking forward to finally seeing Volstad. (Or I guess reading about him, since I won't actually see the game.)

I hear you

I will be in spring training this weekend (yay!). I'm also looking forward to seeing Volstad and I hope, since he is pitching on Monday, that he will pitch on Saturday or Sunday while I'm still there. The only person I will miss is Scott Olsen and whoever pitches the other split squad game.
