LCS Open Thread and Ichtyomancy (Day Two)

Tonight we have a full slate of games.

Game One: Cleveland (Sabathia) at Boston (Beckett), 7:07 p.m on FOX.

Game Two: Colorado (Jiménez) at Arizona (Davis). 10:07 p.m. on TBS.

It is the same as it was before, you will be picking the winner of each contest plus a player of the game and AAB pick for the Colorado vs. Arizona game only.

Also you need to choose the Winner of the ALCS complete with the number of games it will take for them to achieve that feat.  Just like yesterday, this will not show up in the table but will be securely housed at FishStripes World Headquarters.

Here is today's Ichthyomancy pick table:

Even though I think Boston will win the series...
...I can't ignore the point possibilities of going against the crowd.

Mazzone fired
Not that it matters, since we won't pay him the bucks, but honestly, I think I'd rather have Wiley.

Oh my god...
What's worse: Tito starting Kielty because of 29 at-bats, or McCarver questioning the move because of 14?

Wait a minute...
Was I supposed to be picking things that would happen?? Man, all this time...

there is balk move #1, balk move #2, balk move #3....

That putting your foot in front of the base...
don't work so well when the runner slides feet first

The Rockies are using their good former Marlin...
and l don't think they are dumb enough to use the other

by craig on Oct 13, 2007 12:42 AM EDT reply actions

Oh fabulous
they showed Byrnes HR against the Marlins.  They are making it extremely difficult to erase it from my memory.

by craig on Oct 13, 2007 1:49 AM EDT reply actions

Wow
They're letting Corpas pitch two innings.

Does that mean the Rockies only have left in the pen the pitchers that the Rockies would prefer never letting them on the field?

by craig on Oct 13, 2007 2:12 AM EDT reply actions

This will be Valverde's last inning
he's due up 2nd in the bottom of the inning.

by craig on Oct 13, 2007 2:18 AM EDT reply actions

Whoever it is...
Whoever is going on to pitch hasn't pitched in well over a week. Should be interesting to see what happens.

by mbaamin08 on Oct 13, 2007 2:39 AM EDT up reply actions

Left Valverde in too long
Why did they leave Valverde in so long? The guy couldn't find the strike zone. You move on to another pitcher and get an out.

by mbaamin08 on Oct 13, 2007 2:38 AM EDT reply actions

And it cost them the game
I swear, if the Rockies make it to the World Series and the Indians don't, I am not following the World Series. I hate the Rockies and will not watch them play without playing a team that I actually like.

by mbaamin08 on Oct 13, 2007 2:48 AM EDT up reply actions

Needless to say
The Dbacks are in a bind.
