Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Braves at Marlins (10/2)

It's the end of the year. I know that today is bittersweet (at best), but enjoy it while you can. Marlins' baseball goes on hiatus after today's game.

Horacio Ramirez versus the A-Train today. I won't jinx it (again) by talking too much about Mr. Willis, but I hope that he closes out the year on a good note.

This hasn't been the season that we all expected, but it's been a lot of fun. Today's game is the last game of the regular season and, as you all know, the Marlins aren't participating in the post-season. But that doesn't mean that you have to leave FishStripes. Craig and I have some fun stuff planned for the post-season. So stick around after today. We'll still have open threads and other fun stuff going on.

It's once again time for ichthyomancy. If you've been playing all season, please make your picks today. If you've never played before - start today. It doesn't cost anything, it's fun, and it's free.

Here's today's ichthyomancy pick table:

Person Player Attendance AAB
Carolina Willis 22,035 Lowell: HR
Colombo259
Craig Lowell 32,897 Lowell: Cycle
Dex
Double B SP
Fishfan24 Cabrera 24,024 SP: No hitter
Jsprt05
Seamusfurr Delgado 30,000 Bench clearing brawl
StrandedX02
Wiggins

How Sweet
Josh Wilson gets his first Major League hit, a double to left and is driven in by Juan (RBI machine) Pierre with two outs for the game winning run.

Unfortunately D-Train didn't get the win.

NIce way to end it...
Unfortunately, kind of a disappointing season. And to make matters worse, I didn't even get to make picks today cause I was sleeping in! Oh well...
Cause all we know is falling...

this just in...
I just heard on ESPN that McKeon has said that he's done and won't be back next year.

Points
Seamus wins the attendance point.

Dontrelle is almost worth a point for his performance yesterday. His 12 Ks are a career high. But he gave up three runs and didn't last for the decision.

Delgado, who had a big, RBI pinch-hit, is point worthy for Seamus, so Seamus closes out the year on a strong note.

Are you serious?
Dontrelle deserves a point.  He didn't last for the decision, but he lasted 7 innings with a CAREER day of K's.  I don't even know if anyone had him, but how can a 12-K 7inning game not get a point?
Fear The Mig, Believe in the DTrain
They don't suck.
