The Miami Marlins got a great performance from Nathan Eovaldi, but it resulted in nothing as the Fish lost 2-1 last night. Tonight they face a far more difficult challenge, as Henderson Alvarez is tasked to go one-on-one pitching-wise versus Stephen Strasburg.

Stephen Strasburg has looked like merely an amazing human rather than an unreal deity of baseball-throwing (that's obviously Jose Fernandez). His velocity is down almost two mph from his debut a few years ago, and it seems Tommy John surgery has made him a little less than a god.

Still better than Henderson Alvarez though.

This is new. Justin Ruggiano is being thrown out into the leadoff spot again thanks to Jake Marisnick getting some rest. Christian Yelich being moved to the third spot, pushing Stanton over to the cleanup spot, as he deserves.

Bold Prediction: Nationals def. Marlins 3-1
