Elih Villanueva, SP: 6 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 4 K
Elih Villanueva got plenty of run support thanks to the bats of Kevin Mattison and others. Mattison hit two home runs, both of Felipe Paulino in the first two innings. New Orleans crawls back to 67-67 with the win.
Double-A: Jacksonville Suns

Derek Dietrich, 2B: 3-for-5, 2B, HR (9), 2 RBI
Andrew Heaney, SP: 7 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 K
Jacksonville played one of their more complete games of the season, defeating Montgomery 8-1. Mark Canha and Derek Dietrich both had huge days at the plate, each of them hitting a double and a home run. Andrew Heaney was absolutely outstanding on the mound in seven dominant innings.
High Class A: Jupiter Hammerheads

Scott Lyman, SP: 7 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 K
Scott Lyman had his third straight effective outing, since being promoted to Jupiter from Greensboro, Friday in Charlotte. Lyman threw seven two-hit innings against a star studded lineup featuring Drew Vettleson and Richie Shaffer, among others. Lyman has been making a clear case for him to start out next season in Jacksonville.
Low Class A: Greensboro Grasshoppers

Viosergy Rosa, 1B: 2-for-4, BB, HR (23), 2 RBI
Daniel Oliver, SP: 7 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 6 K
Greensboro picked up a major win in Hagerstown on Friday, thanks to the combination of strong pitching and clutch hitting. Viosergy Rosa hit his 23rd homer of the season and Cameron Flynn had three hits to help score some of the Hoppers runs. Daniel Oliver, who has seemingly made some major changes in his last couple starts, threw seven efficient innings.
Short-Season: Batavia Muckdogs

Rehiner Cordova, 2B: 2-for-3, 2B, SB (1), RBI
Joel Effertz, SP: 5 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 4 K
Batavia scrapped their way to a win on Friday against Mahoning Valley. The Muckdogs were extremely aggressive on the basepaths, having four of their players steal. Batavia improves to a respectable 33-29 with their season starting to wind down to a close.
Rookie: GCL Marlins
L 2-6 @ GCL Cardinals
Christian Rivera, 2B: 1-for-2, 2 BB
Cody Crabaugh, SP: 3 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 2 K
The GCL Marlins spoiled the organization's chance of having a day of undefeated affiliates by losing 2-6 to the Cardinals. Cody Crabaugh got lit up for the first time in a while for him. Christian Rivera did reach base three times, but the rest of the Marlins lineup could never get going.
