The Miami Marlins and the Colorado Rockies are going nowhere (though the Rockies appear to be heading there at a slower pace than the Fish) in 2013, but both teams are using this time period to evaluate its various young players. For tonight's first game in a three-game series at Marlins Park, the Fish will look at Tom Koehler while the Rockies are hoping Jhoulys Chacin can continue his excellent comeback year.

The Marlins' Koehler is the only pitcher in the rotation who is not likely to have a spot in the rotation next season. Jhoulys Chacin is almost certainly a major part of the Rockies' starting rotation. One of them is good, the other is "meh," so there's that.
