From calling a shutout behind the plate to driving in three of his team's four runs, Skipworth stole the spotlight in front of just under five thousand spectators at Zephyr Field. New Orleans improves to 43-46 with the win.

Fans at St. Lucie's Tradition Field were in for a real treat on Friday night, getting to see two Marlins first-round picks and highly touted prospects take the field. Still on his rehab assignment, Christian Yelich homered and drew two walks. On the hill, Andrew Heaney pitched six stellar shutout innings, not walking a single batter. In a quick moving game, Heaney had a 9:1 FB:GB ratio, before exiting after six seemingly effortless innings.

Greensboro came from behind in the bottom of the ninth to steal an important win over Lakewood. Viosergy Rosa hit his 18th dinger of the season, putting him in third among home run leaders in the South Atlantic League. However, it was Yefri Perez, who is hitting a paltry .185, who came up clutch in the ninth with a RBI single to end the ball game.
