New Orleans accumulated 21 hits in Monday night's game, with multi-hit efforts from six players on their roster. It should have been an easy win, but Chris Hatcher blew a four run lead in the ninth inning, taking the game to extra innings.

Matt Downs hit a double in the eleventh inning to score Ed Lucas. Jordan Smith then closed out the game for the win.

Jupiter's pitching easily dealt with Flying Tigers for the second consecutive night, allowing only six base-runners. Jared Rogers's start lowered his ERA to 2.49. The 25-year-old has allowed only one home run in 25 innings pitched this year.

After a strong start to the season, Noah Perio has struggled mightily the last ten games, batting .237. The 21-year-old second basemen has no extra base hits this year in 61 plate appearances. Once considered a decent infield prospect, Perio's stock has tumbled in the last year.

While Kannapolis out-pitched Greensboro, allowing only four base-runners, their costly errors proved decisive. Cameron Flynn scored the winning run off an error by Intimidators second basemen Micah Johnson.
