How would you guys feel about signing Melky this winter? Obviously he is coming off of his suspension for testing positive for steroids, but that would work to our advantage, as he would surely look to sign a cheap 1/2 year deal to rebuild his value. Of course his numbers were inflated this year, and maybe in years past too, but even without steroids he can still hit. He would surely provide surplus value by outplaying his cheap contract, and should be a solid figure in the clubhouse if he can overcome the embarrassment of his suspension.
