Earlier in today's 5-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals, the Miami Marlins pulled Hanley Ramirez for what turned out to be a right finger laceration. The frustrating part is that occurred because of Ramirez's own anger and frustration, as he hit a fan. Not a fanatic, like you or I, but an actual whirling fan. He received two stitches and should be OK for Friday's game, but apparently manager Ozzie Guillen is not happy.

Of course, given what happened in today's game, there are a ton of potential problems the Marlins need to address, not the least of which being what is wrong with Heath Bell. Indeed, there are many questions still left unanswered as the Fish enter the All-Star break on a low note. Stay tuned.
UPDATE: Here's Ozzie's post-game interview on the Ramirez issue and on Heath Bell, among other things.
