Greetings, Marlins fans!

We heave a new feature on Viva El Birdos this year where we occasionally invite other blogs to join us for a joint game-thread, and we'd like you to come on over for the game on Wednesday, June 27.

Last season, many of us really enjoyed the occasional cross-talk that occurred with members of other teams' blogs. We found it to be informative on a number of levels, and appreciated hearing other perspectives, while sharing our own. This year, we’ve decided to make this a semi-regular organized feature of our blog. We've been especially excited to run this feature with you all, as some of you may remember (fondly or not) the great VEB invasion of 2011. (Here)

There will be a separate gamethread just for this communal purpose, and it will be a neutral environment. In other words, you'll have the same rights that we do. We won't troll you; don't troll us. But challenging questions are fine, and we definitely like humor of all sorts.

If you are interested, please join our website soon as there is a 3-day waiting period before you can post. Also, please familiarize yourself with the VEB community guidelines here. We tend to be a very relaxed group.

Anyway, come on over and play. Our moms said it was okay as long as we promise not to break anything. I’ll put up a link to the gamethread in the comments here when the game is about to begin.
