Have you purchased any new Miami Marlins Gear?

Whether you plan to attend games or support them from across the world, you probably own some Florida Marlins gear. With the new change to the Miami Marlins colors and logo, much displeasure has been expressed. Many fans wanted the teal to stay, I was one of them. However I do think that many of us are learning to accept the change, and are embracing our new look. I even bought my first piece last week, the Orange Authentic 2012 Road Performance 59FIFTY On-Field Cap, so change is possible.

This week I ask readers..

I bought a sticker for my car

and I did get a shirt from signing up 3 emails at the Fan Fest at Roger Dean Stadium the day spring training tickets went on sale.

I will be buying more. The only t-shirts I’ve seen in my area are Jose Reyes, and I’d rather have a Stanton or Gaby, so I’m holding out. I’m hoping they’ll have them in the store at spring training. I’ve got to get a hat, too, but I’ve only seen fitted ones so far and they don’t really work for me.

I actually went to Champs yesterday to buy the fitted hat..

But to my surprise they were sold out and I was told they were in back order in every Champs store within the 40 mile radius.. So yea looks like ppl are embracing the change

My dad got the black hat. I’m waiting out for the eventual Teal, silver, black version that newera would most likely make. The jersey will come when another World Series championship comes. Or I get one free.

Eventually

I’ll probably see about getting new jerseys… but either second hand or if they have them deeply discounted. I can’t justify $1400 for the jersey set.

I do have the new hats, though.

I got an old JJ jersey for $45 clearance on the Marlins shop site...

..got the new black hat at the new stadium, and the black logo shirt online. The new logo looks a lot better in person IMO.

Desperately looking for a black hat

I might have to settle for ordering it online, but man, it was tough trying to find them at stores. Also planning on getting shirts for my girlfriend and I in time for our first game at the new park. Super psyched.
