Emilio Bonifacio has something much more important than a baseball game to think about today. It is the birth of his first born child.

The newest Marlins fan is expected to be a boy. 

Boni is off to a good start at being a good dad.

 Because he knew his wife was due to deliver, Bonifacio said he told reliever Edward Mujica before the game against the Astros that he would produce three hits in honor of the child. He lived up to that promise.

Naturally we wish the family the best and couldn't be happier for them.
