The Marlins made a roster move sending Clay Hensley to the 15-day DL and recalled Ozzie Martinez for AAA New Orleans.
On Friday, Florida placed reliever Clay Hensley on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder sprain. The veteran, who suffered the injury while throwing a pitch in the ninth inning on Wednesday night at Arizona, underwent an MRI on Friday.
The Marlins have recalled infielder Ozzie Martinez from Triple-A New Orleans.

In the nine games he appeared in after being sent down in late May, Martinez hit .342 with five doubles, two homers and six RBIs.
This is a very understandable move. The Marlins need fielding depth up the middle with Hanley not being able to play. If Boni had gotten hurt, the team would've been screwed.
Speaking of Hanley, the Marlins had decided to wait until Monday before making the decision whether or not to place him on the DL. Because come Tuesday, the Marlins need a pitcher.
The Marlins configuration is now 13 position players and 12 pitchers.
