As we all feared, Art-Dealer turned MLB Team Destroyer Jeffrey Loria continues his path to destroying the teal and black by incorporating his New York Mets' colors in the teams marketing material, and I'm sure, future uniforms.
The only teal on the page is in some fonts and surrounding the word Marlins in the logo. Some can also be found in the ads.. for other companies.
It appears that as me move closer to 2012, we move further from our foundation and closer to terrible, ugly colors. If you are going to incorporate orange, at least move us closer to Dolphins colors, but don't lose our Teal.
Is there any way we can stop this abomination?

I don't know how much the Marlins have to do with that page.
I get the impression that the “official” websites of the teams are governed more by MLB than the individual teams. I agree with the sentiment though, I would hate to see our teal go, and really, I don’t like orange all that much.
team marketing controls the content i believe
and mlb controls the hosting..
..i say that because different teams’ websites are not all the same.
While I was an intern at MLB
I never heard of the marketing or IT departments at headquarters doing team websites… I could be wrong though
Orange is also the Orioles color, and we know how well that is working out for them.
What's more frustrating than being a Marlins and Orioles fan? Eye surgery???
i dont think that that has anything to do with the new colors IMO...
im pretty sure that if the colors do change, that it will be for a caribbean blue or something. the color orange doesnt pertain to a marlin at all.
True, which is what my thinking was. I would not like the colors to change at all, but I'll be even
more upset if they add orange.. It just doesn’t make sense.

maybe the ring it jumps through becomes orange, like the miami dolphins
