The Marlins are back home after a 3-3 road trip that should have been a 4-2 trip on the road. The Marlins will be trying to right the ship in the three-game series against the Washington Nationals.
Alex Sanabia is on the mound for the Marlins. Sanabia has pitched well since his return to the rotation. Maybe, just maybe, he has started to get a handle on this pitching thing.
Jason Marquis takes the hill for the Nationals. This will be Marquis first start against the Marlins this season. Marquis is still trying to get everything together after four months on the DL. He pitched reasonably well in his last two starts but is still trying to get a handle on his control.
Ichthyomancy wants to get back to its winning ways.

Still coming down in buckets, and according to Rich and Tommy, even if the rain stopped, it would take an hour to get the field ready for play. Postponement seems likely.
