Around SBN: Tiger Woods Makes His 2012 PGA Tour Debut

Ricky Nolasco

Hey everyone, I went to the Marlins v Dbacks games on Thursday, and Friday and I could not help but notice that there was plenty of scouts watching Dan Haren v Ricky Nolasco. I have also read articles in recent days talking about Nolasco to the Yankees, Mets, or White Sox. I personally don't think or want Ricky to leave, but with our front office you never know what will happen. So, where do you think he will end up? And the key is what would we get in return for Ricky who is probably the best pitcher available now that Lee is with the Rangers.

I hope the Marlins hold on to Ricky

He and JJ will be a great 1-2 for years to come. Unfortunately he’ll probably get dealt :(.

I think it's far more likely the scouts were there...

To see Dan Haren, who is all but already out of Arizona.

Chris Coghlan is NLRoY 2009 (that's a +1 for me!)

We should buy low and keep him

He’s kind of had unlucky year (again) on home runs, so if we signed him to a three or four year deal after the season we could get great value.

Unlucky isn't a strong enough word

He’s given up 20 home runs this year, tied for second-worst in the majors with Kevin Milwood, behind Randy Wolf (who has allowed 21). He’s had some horrible luck on fly balls, which hopefully will correct in the second half.

Best available with a 4.55 ERA..don't think so

what about Oswalt, Haren,

Nolasco has never pitched to his potential, he had a +5.00 ERA last season
